Autism Summer Camps in Arlington specifically

Northern Virginia's density means an unusually broad set of summer options, though also high demand. County parks and recreation departments (Arlington, Fairfax, and neighboring jurisdictions) run therapeutic recreation and inclusion programs and often offer inclusive or adaptive summer camps with support staff. Fairfax County in particular has a large therapeutic-recreation program. Some ABA and therapy providers run structured summer programs, and various special-needs and adaptive camps operate across NoVA and the DC region.

Availability shifts year to year, and popular NoVA programs fill very early — many open registration in late winter, and inclusion/adaptive slots can go fast. Because there's no single directory, families usually assemble options from county parks & rec therapeutic-recreation offices, their providers, PEATC's resources, and local parent groups.

For funding: some DD Waiver services (like respite) can help offset camp-type costs for eligible families, and some camps and county programs offer fee assistance or scholarships.
