Autism Resources in Nevada
A statewide guide to autism services across Nevada — for families in Las Vegas, Henderson, Reno, Sparks, North Las Vegas, Carson City, and the rural communities in between.
Nevada's autism services system has some genuinely distinctive pieces — the Autism Treatment Assistance Program (ATAP), a state fund that directly helps families pay for ABA and other treatments; the Katie Beckett Medicaid option, which lets children with significant disabilities qualify for Medicaid regardless of parental income; and strong nonprofit and university anchors at both ends of the state. Nevada also has real challenges — one of the country's tighter provider markets relative to need, long distances between its two population centers, and vast rural stretches with little local capacity.
This page walks through how the pieces fit together and where the gaps are.
