We'd love to hear from you.
The fastest way to reach us is by email: hello@raisingbrilliance.org
We read every message. We try to respond within a few business days, though sometimes it takes a little longer — Raising Brilliance is a small operation.
What people usually write to us about
A few things people email us about most often:
- Corrections. If you've found something on the site that's wrong, out of date, or could be improved, please tell us. Include the URL of the page and what you think needs to change. This is how we keep the site accurate at scale.
- Questions. About something we've written, about navigating a specific autism-related situation, or about how to interpret information for your own family.
- Joining our sensitivity reader network. If you're an autism parent or an autistic adult and you'd like to read pre-publication drafts and share feedback, we'd be grateful. Email us with a sentence about your perspective and we'll be in touch.
- Local knowledge. If you have on-the-ground knowledge of autism services in a city we cover — or one we should cover — we want to hear it. Local readers are what make this site better than we could make it alone.
- Partnerships and collaborations. Other autism publications, advocacy organizations, and professionals with relevant work to share — we're open to hearing from you.
What we can't help with
We're not clinicians, lawyers, or case managers, so a few things are outside what we can usefully do:
- We can't diagnose or assess your child
- We can't recommend specific therapy providers, schools, or doctors as endorsements
- We can't give legal advice on IEP disputes, insurance denials, or similar matters — though we can sometimes point you toward people and organizations who might help
- We can't help in crisis situations. If you or your child are in immediate danger, call 911. For mental health crises, the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is available 24/7 by call or text in the US.
