Chandler is one of the easier East Valley cities to plan an outing in, largely because the city's own Parks & Recreation division went through autism certification rather than leaving it to individual attractions. That means the baseline — staff training, sensory guides — is set at the municipal level. Planning around bigger venues? Our guide to sensory-friendly programs at theaters, stadiums, and museums covers the national programs that reach Chandler too.
