Autism Resources in Naples, Florida
Naples anchors Florida's affluent southwest coast in Collier County, and while it's a smaller market than Miami or Tampa, families here have a solid core of ABA providers, pediatric therapy clinics, and a well-regarded local nonprofit. Two things shape the local picture. First, CARD-USF — the University of South Florida's Center for Autism and Related Disabilities — serves Collier County through its Fort Myers satellite office at no cost and with no waitlist for its support, consultation, and navigation services (it does not provide ABA or diagnosis directly). Second, because Naples is affluent, there are more private-pay therapy and evaluation options than in many similarly sized cities — but for some hospital-grade services, Collier families still travel about 40 minutes north to Fort Myers, home of Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida. This guide walks through diagnosis, therapy, schools, community, and how Florida's funding programs actually work.
