One of the most useful things you can do after a diagnosis is connect with other Sparks-area parents who have already navigated this — they know which providers have openings and which everyday outings are autism-welcoming. Northern Nevada has a handful of parent-led networks and statewide organizations that serve Sparks families, several rooted right in the Reno–Sparks community.
