Autism Schools & Special Education in Cedar Rapids

Iowa runs special education through a structure most states do not have, and if you do not understand it you will underuse it. Area Education Agencies employ the autism specialists, and Grant Wood AEA covers seven counties including Cedar Rapids. Your district provides the classroom; the AEA provides much of the expertise. Iowa also now has a universal ESA worth $8,148 - though the application window for this coming year has already closed.
