ABA Therapy in Minneapolis, Minnesota

What ABA therapy is, what it's not, how Minnesota pays for it, and how to choose well — for Twin Cities families.

Applied Behavior Analysis is the most-studied autism intervention and one of the most debated. In Minnesota, families have an unusual advantage: the EIDBI Medicaid benefit covers ABA and other evidence-based approaches, and the state's insurance mandate covers ABA with no dollar caps. This page covers what ABA is, where the legitimate debates lie, how it's funded in the Twin Cities, and how to evaluate a provider. We don't tell families to choose ABA or to avoid it — we give you information to choose well.
