Adaptive Swim Lessons in Minneapolis

Swimming is one of the most important skills an autistic child can learn — and one of the most urgent. Drowning is a leading cause of death for autistic children, many of whom are drawn to water and prone to wandering, which makes water safety a genuine priority rather than just a nice extracurricular. Adaptive swim lessons teach these skills in a way that meets autistic and sensory-sensitive kids where they are. This page covers what adaptive lessons look like and where to find them near Minneapolis.
