Autism Support Groups in Gulfport specifically

The Gulf Coast has active local organizations for its size, plus strong statewide groups.

Local organizations. Mississippi Centers for Autism & Related Developmental Disabilities (MCARDD) in D'Iberville supports families and connects them with resources. Disability Connection in Gulfport hosts inclusive events, resource fairs, and community programs, and The Arc of Mississippi's Gulfport office offers advocacy and family support. Ask these organizations about current parent groups and meetups, since grassroots groups form and change.

Statewide organizations. The Mississippi Parent Training and Information Center (MSPTI) offers navigation and IEP help across the state, and the statewide autism and developmental-disability networks connect families to resources. Both serve Coast families remotely and sometimes in person.

Provider- and school-based groups. Some ABA and therapy providers, and the Gulfport and Harrison County school systems, run or can point you to parent groups and workshops. Ask your child's team.

Online. Mississippi Gulf Coast autism parent Facebook groups are active and fill in between in-person meetings.
