Autism Schools & Special Education in Lincoln

Nebraska voters repealed the state's private school scholarship programme by a wide margin in 2024, and a $3.5 million replacement was stripped out of the state budget in March 2026. There is no state money to help you go private. That makes Lincoln Public Schools - which employs its own autism specialists and runs the Independence Academy - the whole conversation.
