Autism Resources in Santa Fe, New Mexico

Santa Fe is New Mexico's capital and a city of about 88,000 — large enough to have real autism services, small enough that most families run into their limits. Several ABA agencies now serve Santa Fe, there's a solid cluster of pediatric speech and occupational therapy clinics, and Meow Wolf's House of Eternal Return was the first Certified Autism Center in New Mexico. But specialty diagnostic and medical care is concentrated in Albuquerque, about an hour south, and most Santa Fe families end up making that drive at some point — especially to the UNM Center for Development and Disability, the state's autism hub. This guide walks through what's genuinely local, what usually requires the trip, and how New Mexico's funding programs work for Santa Fe families.
