What exists is a city summer youth program whose staff work with disabled children routinely, a free therapeutic-adventure program, statewide adaptive recreation, and a lot of asking around.
The city's main summer youth programming, run through Youth and Family Services and the Recreation Division. Mainstream rather than special-needs, but the city states its Summer Youth Program staff interact with children and youth with physical and mental disabilities daily. Registration is two-step and slots have opened on an announced date — find it early.
