Autism Schools & Special Education in Buffalo

Western New York has a serious autism school in The Summit Center, and New York State has a funding mechanism that most states lack. Approved private "853" schools are paid for by your school district when the Committee on Special Education agrees your child cannot be appropriately educated in-district. That makes the CSE meeting - not an admissions office - the room where this gets decided.
