Autism Schools & Special Education in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh has one of the deepest benches of autism-specific schools in the country - and most families do not know it, because the funding runs through school districts rather than tuition. Pennsylvania licenses Approved Private Schools, and Allegheny County has five or six serving autistic students. Getting in means winning the argument with your district, not writing a check.
