Autism Schools & Special Education in Pearland

Pearland has two things worth knowing about beyond the district: a university autism center at UH-Clear Lake's Pearland campus, and an active local parent group that meets monthly. For most families the parent group turns out to be more useful than any directory, because parents will tell you which campuses and which teachers actually work - information no website publishes. Pearland ISD also publishes its autism eligibility criteria plainly, which is worth reading before your first meeting.
