John Ball Zoo

Zoo

KultureCity Sensory Inclusive certified since 2019. Sensory bags (noise-canceling headphones, lap pads, fidget tools, feeling card) available at guest services, with designated headphone zones and mapped quiet areas throughout the park.

Grand Rapids Public Museum

History and science museum

Runs Sensory Sundays on the second Sunday of each month with adjusted sound and lighting and a low-sensory planetarium show. KultureCity sensory bags available daily, plus quiet spaces; some overwhelming exhibit features were permanently removed for all visitors.
