Occupational therapy in Grand Rapids: everyday skills and sensory support

In Grand Rapids, occupational therapy is available through hospital outpatient rehabilitation departments, private pediatric therapy clinics, and multidisciplinary autism centers across West Michigan. Corewell Health / Helen DeVos Children's Hospital offers OT as the region's major pediatric system, and many independent pediatric clinics throughout Kent County specialize in sensory-focused OT, sometimes with dedicated sensory gyms.

Funding follows familiar lines: most state-regulated private insurance plans cover medically necessary OT, and Michigan Medicaid covers it for eligible children.
